Copyright & DMCA Policy
TopVelocity respects copyright and expects users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged infringement that meet the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
Designated agent
Send copyright notices to our designated agent:
Copyright Agent — Top Velocity Performance Centers
Attn: Brent Pourciau
17588 Hard Hat Dr., Covington, LA 70435
Email: info@topvelocity.org (subject line: "DMCA notice")
What to include in a notice
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
- Identification of the material you want removed and enough information for us to find it (for example, a link or the account name).
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Counter-notices
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send our agent a counter-notice that includes your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., any district where TopVelocity may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice unless the complaining party tells us it has filed a court action.
Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
Other content concerns
To report content that shows a minor inappropriately, intimate images shared without consent, or anything that puts someone at risk, email info@topvelocity.org with the subject "Urgent content report." We review these reports promptly, remove qualifying intimate images within 48 hours of a valid request, and report suspected child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as the law requires.
